mobile app prototype

born out of our own and our friends’ daily struggles to commute within jerusalem’s rehavia neighborhood, this project set out to improve the public transit experience.
the result is a community-based mobile app that enables passengers to share real-time updates such as route changes, delays, and crowd levels, adding a human layer to existing navigation data.
created in collaboration with shmuel apter and yonatan davidi, as part of a joint lab between bezalel academy of arts and design and the hebrew university’s computer science department, in collaboration with a nonprofit organization.
